Week 85: Wait! Who's My Comp?

What an interesting week this last one was! So on Monday it was Elder Pigott's last day and we said our final goodbyes, then my new companion Elder Sellers came into the area! I absolutely love Elder Sellers! We came in together and also served in the same first district, but haven't really served around each other since! We also became the companionship with the most time (months) in the mission field! So we looked at each other and said we are going to just blow this area up with the spirit 💣!

The next day I got a call from President and he told me there was one more Spanish elder coming in than they thought. So, he told me I would be training! I was sad to see Elder Sellers go to a new area, but I am so excited to train! My trainee's name is Elder Jessop! He is from California and is so excited to be here! We are going to kill it! He also cannot drink milk, so we get along great. I am serving in the same ward with Hna Bettridge for the fourth transfer. She is amazing and a great missionary.

Haha Hermana Bettridge snagged my iPad😂 But like she said my baby's name is Elder Jessop, and President called and gave me the chance to train! I'm so excited! Also we had an amazing baptism! Issac and Kevin were so prepared, and it was incredible because so many people came to the baptism and it was such a spiritual experience! Kevin was also the first person I personally have baptized and it was absolutely incredible! This week was so good and it also taught me how to endure! Which makes me think of the scripture in Alma 36:3 where it talks about how God will always support us through our trials! I love this work and I'm excited to learn more each day!
I love y'all!

Love, Elder Heiner
